Dead Weight Selected for POP International Film Festival

We’re beyond excited to share that Dead Weight, directed by Joseph Harding and Kate McGee & edited by Anya Dunstone was officially been selected as the first entrant for this year’s POP International Film Festival.

We’re honestly shocked, humbled, and so grateful that our little film has made it this far. Seeing Dead Weight continue to find an audience means the world to us.

The film screened at the ACMI cinemas in Melbourne and was a finalist in the Bechdel Test category, which was a huge honour and milestone for our team. It also marked a special moment for us personally, as it was the first opportunity our families had to see the film on the big screen.
