Goodbye Eddie Productions is the new home for content made by Joseph Harding & Kate McGee.
We are a forward thinking Indie production company focused on telling unconventional stories from the heart.
Joseph & Kate both come from completely different artistic backgrounds. Kate comes from a background in Visual Arts & Photography, while Joseph began his journey in writing & cinematography. Together the two have helped each-other grow & progress as Artists. Originally forming Murphy House Productions: (an affectionate nod to the share house where they met) The two spent the next four years honing their skills & developing their unique voice.
In 2020 the two decided that they have gone as far as they can with Murphy House Productions (they both moved out), deciding instead to Launch a new production House, Goodbye Eddie Productions. The new home of their creative works ranging from Films, Podcasts, Photography & even Journalism.
2020-2021 may have been a huge set back, but with the rising sun of 2022 on the horizon Joseph & Kate are excited to finally release their finished films, begin Pre-Production on their first Feature & take on as many creative challenges as possible.
Collaboration is key at GoodBye Eddie productions, no one voice is louder or more important. We like to tell stories some others might try to avoid, while holding a gender Neutral perspective on youth within a world covered in all its icky realness.
Films
Cinema is the collection of all the artistic mediums. At GoodBye Eddie productions we have the most fun when telling a story. Currently we have a handful of films already in circulation, gaining entry into over a dozen film festivals. additionally we are in post production on a couple more.
Photography
The two of us have completely different philosophies when it comes to photography. Kate is a perfectionist who loves to paint a detailed & dense picture with her frame. While Joseph prefers the warts & all candid nature of just taking a photo.
Podcast
Joseph has been the host, editor & producer of the MovieButts Podcast since 2019. Alongside Dane McDowell, Joseph strived to release a fully developed, edited & curated episode every week. Excited things are coming for movie buts as they prepare to launch into the visual medium! Find us on any good podcast platform.
