Angela Teaser Released Ahead of Festival Run

The first teaser for Angela, an Australian independently funded short film, has officially been released, offering an early look at the upcoming psychological drama.

Co-written and produced by Joseph Harding, Angela is directed by Kate McGee and edited by Anya Dunstone. The film draws inspiration from the works of Pedro Almodóvar, blending emotional intensity with a distinct visual identity.

The teaser is the first of two, with a full trailer still to come, as the team prepares for a 2026 festival circuit run.

Angela explores the fractured relationship between a mother and daughter, centring on a woman attempting to reconnect with someone who no longer wants to be found.

As an independently funded Australian short film, Angela represents the continued collaboration between Harding, McGee and Dunstone under Goodbye Eddie Productions.

Further updates, including the second teaser and official trailer, will be released in the coming weeks.
