Angela Official Trailer Released as Festival Submissions Begin

Goodbye Eddie Productions is proud to release the official trailer for Angela, the latest Australian short film from the independent Sydney-based team.

Directed by Kate McGee, written by Kate McGee and Joseph Harding, produced by Joseph Harding, and edited by Anya Dunstone, Angela is a psychological drama exploring identity, grief and the fragile line between truth and self-deception.

The film follows a desperate mother searching for her runaway daughter, Angela, after following a lead to a possible address. At the same time, Clare, a resident of the unit, becomes increasingly consumed by mysterious letters addressed to Angela. As tensions rise, the connection between the two women begins to blur, building toward a haunting revelation.

With the official trailer now live, Angela has also officially entered the 2026 film festival submission circuit.
